Communication Skills Champion Program (TalkVermont)

Posted: September 14, 2020

This TalkVermont course aims to provide extra training for TalkVermont graduates who can serve as role-models and champions in patient-centered communication skills for serious illness conversations. This course takes place weekly via Zoom for 75 minutes over a 15-week period. Participants will meet with their small group of 4-5 clinicians with an expert coach and discuss challenging cases that they are currently seeing in their practice. Participants will be asked to try out new skills and report back to the group. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to work with mock patients that will be used to monitor progress and provide feedback from the coach. For additional details, please see the flyer below.
